The phone I borrowed is flawed! For instance I can not access Android Market… (i.e. I can access it, and download ONE app after returning the phone to factory settings).
This means that I’m not having the progress I had hoped! But at least I have tried fiddling more with the phone’s OS than I would ever have expected to do!
I downloaded Angry Birds, since it is so famous that even a non smartphone owner like me had heard about it. My phone is too slow to run it, så it wasn’t as great an experience as I had hoped. I like the interaction – it is incredibly simple! You don’t even need any introduction everything is just intuitive.
At another attempt with Android Market, I downloaded EverNote. A great little app which can be used on both your smart phone, your desktop computer and probably anything else as well. You can even connect it to your twitter account!
This app is brilliant in the fact that the developers actually remembered, they were developing for different platforms. Which means that EverNote does NOT look the same on my smartphone and on my desktop computer. The functionality is more or less the same though.
Unfortunately I do not have EverNote at the moment, since I once again returned my phone to factory settings in order to explore other apps. This time I ended up with a Recipes app which is really bad. There is too much functionality crammed into too little place. It is not at all intuitive and when I use it, I don’t get what I expected.
Yesterday I was given a Motorola Xoom tablet (well, I’m borrowing it). I ended up using all of the battery in one day, and did not have a charger… Now I have! Next blog post will be written from the Xoom
Btw. the next litterature I will read is:
